As the criminal proceedings against Sean “Diddy” Combs continue, disturbing allegations have emerged in court regarding his treatment of former partner Casandra Ventura, known publicly as Cassie. The music mogul is currently facing multiple serious charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking through force, fraud, or coercion.
During a recent court session, prosecutor Emily A. Johnson alleged that Combs compelled Ventura to participate in a degrading sexual encounter, referred to in court as a “freak-off,” which involved acts she reportedly did not consent to. Johnson stated that Ventura took part in the incident due to her emotional attachment to Combs, although she was clearly uncomfortable with the situation.
According to the prosecution, one specific incident involved a male escort urinating into Ventura’s mouth at Combs’ insistence. Ventura is said to have described the experience as traumatic, stating she “felt like she was choking.” Johnson added that Ventura is willing to testify directly to the jury regarding the nature of this and other encounters.
Ventura and Combs had an on-and-off relationship spanning more than ten years, which began in 2007 following two years of professional collaboration. At the time their relationship began, Ventura was 19, while Combs was 37 and the head of Bad Boy Records, the label that signed her.
Their relationship ended in 2018. That same year, Ventura accused Combs of rape and sex trafficking, claims that were settled shortly after being made public. Despite the settlement, Combs has since been indicted by a grand jury on charges related to coercive sexual exploitation.
Court documents allege that Combs and his associates utilized his status and influence within his business ventures to manipulate and control women. The indictment asserts that Combs orchestrated scenarios under the guise of romantic involvement, during which victims were subjected to abusive and non-consensual acts. It is also alleged that he transported sex workers across state and international borders and used threats, intimidation, and force to involve victims in prolonged sexual encounters with male escorts — episodes he reportedly referred to as “freak-offs.”
Combs has remained in custody since his arrest in Manhattan in September and continues to deny all charges.
