Musk remarked on social media that, while the relationship had ended, their friendship and mutual respect remained intact. Heard, too, spoke reflectively about the relationship, offering a metaphorical statement that underscored both her affection for Musk and the complexity of their time together: “I love him very much. Elon loves fire, and sometimes it burns him.”
